Law Firm is looking for a full-time registered Patent Attorney to join our firm. We are interested in applicants with all technology backgrounds, including but not limited to electrical engineering, computer/software, mechanical engineering, chemistry/biochemistry, biology, and physics. The ideal candidate should have IPR/litigation experience as well.

Duties of a Patent Attorney

As a Patent Attorney at Law Firm, you will be responsible for:

- Meeting with inventors and drafting patent applications for filing in the USPTO
- Prosecuting patent applications before the USPTO, including interviewing Examiners
- Working collaboratively with clients and other BoMc attorneys to develop and refine claim strategies
- Proactively managing a docket of cases the attorney has primary responsibility for, across a blend of clients from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies
- Drafting noninfringement and invalidity opinions
- Conducting due diligence investigations and performing freedom-to-operate and landscape analyses under the supervision of the firm’s partners
