Job Title: Bankruptcy Paralegal

Experience: 3-5 years of law firm experience in Chapter 11 bankruptcy work

Responsibilities:

- Attend to finalizing and filing pleadings in Chapter 11 cases in the Delaware Bankruptcy Court and bankruptcy courts in other districts.
- Ensure those documents comply with local bankruptcy rules and customs.
- Prepare and organize hearing binders, exhibits, and proposed orders.
- Draft fee applications, certifications of counsel, certificates of service, notices, pro hac vice motions, and hearing agendas.
- Communicate with the court regarding various matters.
- Assist legal teams in preparing for court hearings.
- Prepare drafts of other legal documents and correspondence for attorney review.
- Communicate with attorneys, clients, and other bankruptcy professionals on various bankruptcy matters.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate
- 3-5 years of law firm experience in Chapter 11 bankruptcy work
- Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet searching
- Experience working with a document management system
- Knowledge of Delaware/Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure and associated filing requirements
- Ability to work beyond standard work hours when necessary
