Responsibilities:

- Handle a caseload of commercial litigation matters pending in state and federal courts
- Conduct legal research and draft various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
- Attend court hearings and depositions as needed
- Participate in case strategy and provide recommendations to partners and senior attorneys
- Manage and train junior associates and support staff as needed

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial litigation
- Strong writing skills and ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts
- Knowledge of state and federal court procedures and rules
- New York bar admission is required, with New Jersey bar admission being a plus
- Ability to work independently and handle a high-volume caseload
- Previous experience in a prestigious law firm is preferred
