Law Firm Seeking Experienced Litigation Paralegal in Monrovia, CA - Salary Range - per hour

Are you a highly motivated paralegal with 3-7 years of experience in litigation? Do you have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong attention to detail? If so, our insurance defense litigation firm is looking for you! We are seeking a full-time personal injury litigation paralegal to join our team in Monrovia, CA.

As a paralegal in our firm, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys in all aspects of the litigation process. This includes drafting pleadings, discovery, and other legal documents, as well as summarizing and analyzing medical records, discovery responses, and deposition transcripts. You will also have the opportunity to interact with clients and assist in case analysis and investigation.

To be successful in this role, you must be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Strong organizational, writing, and analytical skills are a must, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe is also required. A Bachelor's or Associate degree and an ABA Paralegal Certificate are preferred.

Responsibilities:

- Draft pleadings, discovery, medical and discovery summaries, demands, and other legal documents
- Draft discovery motions, oppositions, and replies
- Coordinate, assemble, and prepare documents for production and proceedings
- Investigate facts and laws of cases and search public records and other resources to prepare case analysis reports and determine causes of action
- Communicate with clients, when necessary
- Work in a team-based structure

Skills/Qualifications:

- 3-7 years of experience in litigation (required)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and ensure timely completion
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal court rules and filing procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and instruction
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and Adobe
- Team-player attitude and reliability

- Associate or Bachelor's degree
