Summary:

Bond Vet, a fast-growing veterinary clinic, is seeking an experienced Counsel to join their team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in healthcare and/or high-growth companies. This is a hybrid role, requiring two days per week in-office. The Counsel will be responsible for drafting and negotiating contracts, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and ensuring legal compliance. The role offers a competitive salary of $140,000 - $160,000 annually.

Responsibilities:
- Draft, negotiate, and review agreements with employees, vendors, and strategic partners.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify business objectives and manage legal risks.
- Develop processes, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance.
- Research and interpret federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Work with internal teams, external counsel, and third-party vendors to achieve business objectives while maintaining legal compliance.
- Assist in managing the relationship with outside counsel.
- Collaborate with the legal and executive teams on special projects and initiatives.

Requirements:
- 4+ years experience at a top law firm and/or in-house at a start-up.
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Admission to at least one state bar and in good standing.
- Experience with high-growth healthcare or retail companies preferred.
- Functional knowledge of local and state regulations.
- Exceptional judgment, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
