Legal Analyst - Associate (Hybrid- 3 Days in Office - VA): - Join a team at Freddie Mac that is dedicated to building a better housing finance system and making homeownership and rental housing more accessible and affordable across the nation. - Be a part of the Mortgage Securities Department in the Legal Division and provide legal counsel and execution support for mortgage-related securitization programs and other securities-related transactions. - Collaborate with and improve the performance of business divisions by providing assistance and conducting monthly closings of Single Family and Multifamily transactions and special projects as needed. - Coordinate with internal customers and external parties in processing transaction documentation. - Support mortgage securities attorneys in handling single-family, multi-family, and credit risk transfer issuances. - Prepare and circulate drafts of offering documents and closing documentation for review. - Handle pre-closing procedures, such as due diligence procedures and signature authorizations. - Provide document management support. - Possess 1-3 years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. - Experience in transactional work in a law firm or corporate environment is preferred. - Familiarity with computer technology, including internet applications, computer research tools, and word processing applications (Microsoft Word) and database management. - Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize workload. - Strong document preparation and management skills. - Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. - Ability to establish good internal and external working relationships. - Current Freddie Mac employees should apply through the internal career site. - Freddie Mac is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity and inclusion. - The company does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, disability status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law. - Reasonable accommodation will be provided to individuals with differing abilities to participate in the job application or interview process and perform essential job functions. - Freddie Mac partners with BountyJobs for contingency search business through outside firms. - Resumes received outside the BountyJobs system will be considered unsolicited and Freddie Mac will not be obligated to pay a placement fee. - This full-time position has an annualized market-based salary range of $65,000 - $97,000 and is eligible for the annual incentive program. - The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors, including responsibilities, experience, skill set, internal pay equity, and other relevant qualifications.
