The candidate will practice in the areas of estate and trust planning and administration, wealth preservation, tax planning, and business succession planning. Providing estate and trust planning and administration counsel to clients of varying backgrounds, including high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and their families. Representing fiduciaries throughout the probate and trust settlement process. Designing customized estate plans. Drafting wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, trust funding instruments, and other transfer instruments of varying sophistication and objectives. Crafting business ownership succession plans and strategies for asset protection and tax efficiency. Advising clients regarding philanthropic and gifting solutions; and preparing IRS Form 709 gift tax returns and federal and state estate and generation-skipping transfer tax returns. Should preferably have experience handling sophisticated estate and trust planning and administration matters and the potential scope of work. Must be admitted to the Illinois Bar.
