Duties:

• Represent clients in insurance defense litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and appellate proceedings.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Efficiently manage and prioritize a diverse caseload.
• Provide comprehensive legal advice on insurance claims, coverage issues, and liability.
• Negotiate settlements and engage in mediation or arbitration.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, insurers, and legal professionals.
• Ensure adherence to legal standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff for effective case management.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as necessary.
• Stay abreast of changes in laws and regulations impacting insurance defense.

Requirements:

• 2-7 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Admission to the Florida State Bar.
• Demonstrated success in handling insurance defense cases.
• Proficient understanding of insurance law and legal procedures.
