The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience managing trademark portfolios, conducting clearance searches, and handling prosecution and dispute matters both domestically and internationally. Responsibilities:

- Manage trademark portfolios for clients
- Conduct thorough trademark clearance searches
- Handle all aspects of trademark prosecution, including drafting responses to office actions and oppositions
- Represent clients in USPTO proceedings
- Work with international trademark agents for cases under the Madrid Protocol
- Provide guidance and advice to clients on trademark matters
- Stay updated on changes in trademark laws and regulations

Requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years experience in trademark prosecution
- Familiarity with USPTO proceedings and international trademark matters
- Knowledge of the Madrid Protocol and working with non-US trademark agents
- Excellent references and strong academic background
- Licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction of application

Salary Information:

The salary range for this position in New York is $135,000 to $175,000, commensurate with experience.
