Job Title: ARC Docketing & Filing Specialist (Attorney Resource Center)
Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000 per year
Department: Attorney Resource Center

Overview:

The ARC Docketing & Filing Specialist is responsible for providing critical date management and court filing support to attorneys at the law firm. This role requires exceptional technical skills, an advanced level of knowledge of MS Office Suite, and a working knowledge of Federal and State court rules and electronic filing procedures. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role at a law firm or legal/corporate department.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review documents and research inquiries from legal and administrative staff regarding deadlines for relevant and pertinent information
- Docket client-specific actions with accuracy in accordance with case team preferences
- Independently perform comprehensive docket review of electronic filing receipts from all platforms and distribute to case team members
- Prioritize and process requests received from attorneys, paralegals, and/or Client Service Specialists to docket litigation deadlines
- Oversee the setting up and maintaining of case files
- Perform all federal, state, appellate, and administrative electronic filing
- Research and respond to inquiries from legal and administrative staff regarding court and/or administrative rules, electronic filing procedures, and other related inquiries
- Review documents before service and filing to confirm format, filing fees, and required number of copies
- Scan, save, and/or copy court documents as required
- Coordinate with outside service-of-process vendors nationwide
- Retrieve documents from courts' websites and interface with outside vendors
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Associate's Degree preferred; Bachelor's Degree a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of experience at a law firm or legal/corporate department preferred
- Exceptional technical skills and advanced level of knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Working knowledge of Federal and State court rules and electronic filing processes and procedures
- Proficiency using legal terminology and experience in related practice areas
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-pressure, deadline-driven work environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of interpersonal skills and ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide outstanding customer service

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

- This job operates in a clerical, office setting
- Sedentary work with occasional walking and standing
