Cozen O’Connor is seeking a Technical Specialist to join our Intellectual Property Group. This is an exciting opportunity to work with inventors to write patent applications and get them issued, learn all about the world of patents, and other types of intellectual property.

**Job Responsibilities**

- Assist with patent applications and other intellectual property matters
- Work with inventors to develop patent claims
- Analyze technology and determine patentability
- Research prior art
- Review patent documents
- Draft and edit patent applications
- Communicate with inventors and clients

**Qualifications**

- in physics, engineering, or related field
- Postdoc and/or industry experience is a plus, but not required
- Knowledge of quantum technologies and other areas of physics
- Excellent writing and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
