Corporate Paralegal III, Legal Full time Chicago, IL

Invenergy is seeking a Corporate Paralegal III with 4-6+ years of experience in corporate transactional work to join our in-house Legal team at our headquarters in downtown Chicago, IL. This position will support the Legal department in various tasks related to development, M&A, project finance, and corporate governance matters.

Responsibilities:

- Provide corporate organization and entity management, including formation, maintenance, and dissolution of entities
- Assist in the preparation of various corporate documentation and coordinating signatures
- Support internal and external legal teams and other departments in project administration and achieving commercial operation
- Develop training sessions for business teams on legal policies and procedures
- Maintain records for over 700 . and Canadian legal entities
- Review and respond to Know Your Customer (KYC) requests as needed

Requirements:

- 4-6+ years of corporate transactional experience in a mid-to large-size law firm
- Proficiency in MS Office products
- Able to work in the United States without employer visa sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Experience in construction, development, or renewable energy sector
