Southfield office of a **Members Only** Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an employment law attorney preferably with experience on wage and hour claims. The candidate will handle and support a heavy and complex caseload from pre-litigation, litigation, trial preparation, and trial. Responsible for the day-to-day handling of cases from pre-litigation to litigation. Mostly handle the pre-suit side and assist senior attorneys once the claim files suit. Draft and file litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions, and memorandum. Guide clients through the case process. Interact with expert witnesses to include conferences and drafting of expert reports and affidavits. Attend and prepare for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances. Must be an active member in good standing with the Michigan State Bar.
