**Job Description**

The Patent Associate - Life Sciences will be responsible for drafting and prosecuting patent applications, preparing patent opinion letters, providing IP counseling to clients, and conducting patent due diligence studies in connection with business transactions as well as supervise junior attorneys and patent agents as part of global client service teams.

**Qualifications**

- 1-4 years of patent prosecution law firm experience
- Patent bar membership
- Background in one of the following fields: cell or molecular biology, immunology, biochemistry, bioinformatics, organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, cancer biology, pharmacology, biophysics, or digital health focused disciplines
- Advanced degrees
- Prior patent agent experience is preferred
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Superior academic credentials

**Compensation and Benefits**

- Salary range of $215,000 - $295,000, based on year classification
