Law Firm is seeking a Special Counsel with at least 6 years of litigation experience to join our Litigation Department and support our Complex Litigation Construction Practice. This is a full-time, non-partner track position based in our Tampa office. Responsibilities: - Handle multi-party litigation construction defect matters with confidence and autonomy - Conduct discovery, draft substantive dispositive motions, and have substantial deposition experience - Participate in trial or evidentiary hearings as needed - Demonstrate strong oratory, research, and writing skills - Have baseline knowledge of insurance risk transfer issues for property damage claims - Manage a heavy caseload with strong organizational and time management skills Requirements: - JD from an ABA-approved law school - Active member of the Florida Bar in good standing - Board Certification in Construction Law by the Florida Bar preferred - Excellent academic credentials and writing skills - Strong courtroom or arbitration experience - Self-motivated and focused Application Process: Interested candidates should submit a resume, law school transcript, and a writing sample.
