Job Summary and Qualifications:
As a Managed Care Litigation Paralegal, you will work both independently and under the direction of Senior Counsel in the Legal Department to support all phases of arbitration and/or litigation of managed care disputes. This includes handling service of process, legal-hold notices, document preparation and filing, maintaining litigation/arbitration files, and conducting legal and internet research. You will also work with external counsel, vendors, and experts, as well as internal company departments, to manage discovery and production of electronic data. Additionally, you will assist with analyzing and reporting on managed care litigation matters. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills are required for this position, along with knowledge of litigation processes and procedures. A college degree and ABA Paralegal Certification or comparable qualification are also required, along with 5-7 years of litigation paralegal experience.

• General administration and reporting tasks

Qualifications:
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of litigation processes and procedures
• Experience with computerized databases and research tools
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and legal software preferred
• Prior experience with medical records and healthcare a plus
• College graduate and ABA Paralegal Certification or comparable qualification
• 5-7 years of litigation paralegal experience
