SUMMARY:

Join our dynamic and growing law firm as a full-time Paralegal. Our firm is seeking a highly organized and independent individual with a strong understanding of office and legal processes. The ideal candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a demanding environment. This is a fully remote position.

DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Client Matter / Project Management

o Facilitate internal communications and manage team emails and distribution lists.

o Act as primary point of contact for team charters and plans.

o Document meeting minutes and interview notes.

o Coordinate client communications and schedules.

o Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Litigation Case Management

o Maintain case filings according to firm standards.

o Assist with development of materials for client litigation matters.

o Monitor litigation dockets.

o Communicate with client legal department and litigation service providers.

• Content Management

o Maintain and update matter-related tools.

o Manage internal document management process.

• Production and Packaging of Deliverables

o Assist in drafting, organizing, and editing client deliverables.

o Review deliverables for completeness and consistency.

o Oversee logistics of delivery to client.

• Investigation and Research

o Utilize search tools for project-specific knowledge.

• General

o Maintain confidentiality.

o Interact with firm personnel, clients, and vendors.

o Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

• Essential Skills

o Strong written and oral communication in English.

o Critical thinking and analytical abilities.

o Ability to handle time pressures and prioritize tasks.

o Ability to work independently and consult with lead attorney when needed.

o Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other productivity software.

o Blue booking/cite checking experience.

o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

o Cultural competence and ability to work with diverse groups.

o Strong communication and teamwork skills.

o Prior experience with OrionLaw or similar software.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.

• Paralegal certificate preferred.

• 4-6 years of experience in the field or related area preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Includes but is not limited to listening, talking, concentrating, standing, sitting, bending, and reaching.
