Commercial Litigation Partner

The ideal candidate will have:
• Seven (7) to twelve (12) years of complex commercial litigation experience
• Experience representing companies in a variety of federal and state litigation matters, including financial fraud; securities; breach of contract; breach of fiduciary duties; partnership disputes; shareholder disputes; loan disputes; construction litigation, and UCC litigation
• Admission to the Florida Bar is required and bankruptcy experience is a plus
• Portable book of business is preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Represent companies in complex commercial litigation matters in federal and state court
• Prepare and argue motions, take and defend depositions, handle complex discovery, appear in court, mediate, arbitrate, and prepare cases for trial
• Work collaboratively with other attorneys and support staff to provide excellent legal services to clients
• Develop and maintain client relationships through effective communication and strategic counsel

Education and Experience

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Florida Bar is required
• Seven (7) to twelve (12) years of complex commercial litigation experience
• Bankruptcy experience is a plus
