Responsibilities:

- Manage cases from inception through discovery and trial preparation
- Take depositions and gather evidence from various parties
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Stay up-to-date with changes in the law
- Litigate cases before the workers compensation division
- Negotiate legal contract terms and present arguments in court
- Interpret laws and regulations for individuals and businesses
- Support existing and new clients

Requirements:

- Licensed in Illinois or Indiana (preferred)
- 2-3 years of experience in a law firm workers comp environment (Personal Injury experience a plus)
- Extensive knowledge of State and Federal rules and regulations
- Ability to handle large caseloads and meet strict deadlines
