Job Summary

As a General Liability Associate Attorney, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of cases and handle them from start to finish. We are looking for someone with 1+ years of defense litigation experience, specifically in insurance defense, general liability, NY Labor Law, and transportation litigation. In addition, the ideal candidate should be able to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and have experience with legal project management.

Key Responsibilities

- Independently manage a caseload of litigation cases
- Collaborate with other attorneys and partners on legal projects
- Attend court appearances and conduct depositions
- Communicate with clients and provide status reports

Qualifications

- JD from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in New York
- 1+ years of defense litigation experience
- Familiarity with insurance defense, general liability, NY Labor Law, and transportation litigation
- Strong ability to work in a team environment
- Legal project management experience is a plus

Salary Information

The annualized salary range for this position is $105,000 to $160,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
