The Intellectual Property Attorney will collaborate closely with partners and senior associates to handle patent and trademark issues. The role requires significant experience in Patent and Trademark Litigation, preferably with admission to the Patent Bar.

Duties:

  • Work closely with partners and senior associates on patent and trademark issues.
  • Handle patent and trademark litigation and dispute resolution matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to intellectual property matters.
  • Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on intellectual property issues.

Requirements:

  • 8-12 years of patent and trademark litigation and dispute resolution experience in a law firm setting.
  • Admission to the Patent Bar is preferred.
  • Strong litigation skills with a track record of successful outcomes.
  • Excellent drafting and communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively within deadlines and collaborate within a team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science or significant experience litigating patents in these technology areas.
  • Membership in the Florida Bar or in the process of becoming a member.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Patent Bar (preferred).
  • Membership in the Florida Bar.
