Legal Services of New Jersey (LSNJ) is a statewide non-profit organization that provides civil legal assistance to low-income individuals in New Jersey. We are currently seeking an attorney to join our Health Care Access Project (HCAP) in Edison, New Jersey. This is a full time or part time position, offering a positive workplace and a supportive team environment.

Job Description:

- Provide direct representation to health care consumers throughout the state
- Advocate with state and federal agencies on behalf of clients
- Engage in impact litigation when necessary
- Collaborate with team members on achieving the goal of ensuring that low-income NJ residents have access to quality health care
- Receive training on Medicaid and other relevant areas of law
- Use Spanish fluency to assist Spanish-speaking clients (a plus, but not required)

Requirements:

- Interest in working with individual clients and policy issues
- Passion for promoting health care equity for low-income individuals
- Excellent communication and advocacy skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members
- Spanish fluency is a plus
