The role involves providing effective representation in criminal matters, conducting legal research, and advocating for clients in court. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in criminal defense cases, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy.
• Prepare and file legal documents, such as motions, briefs, and pleadings.
• Provide legal counsel and advice to clients on criminal charges and potential defenses.
• Negotiate settlements and plea deals with opposing counsel and prosecutors.
• Advocate on behalf of clients during court appearances and hearings.
• Develop and implement case strategies, including identifying and presenting evidence.
• Stay informed about changes in criminal law and legal precedents.
• Maintain accurate and detailed case records and documentation.
• Work closely with other legal professionals and support staff to ensure effective case management.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Bar or pending Bar admission.
• Strong commitment to criminal defense and client advocacy.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Bar or pending Bar admission.

Skills:
