Legal Conflicts Review Analyst Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz . is looking to hire a Legal Conflicts Review Analyst to join their team. This position is ideal for someone with strong administrative experience, exceptional communication and computer skills, and the ability to work independently. **Job Description** The Conflicts Review Analyst will be expected to: - Review assigned requests routed to Analyst through the Firm’s New Business Intake (NBI) platform for accuracy and completeness, resolving any deficiencies or errors - Review conflicts reports related to assigned requests - Identify any possible matches between parties in new requests and Firm files - Determine whether any potential matches could present a conflict - Communicate with attorneys to determine whether new matters may present any ethical or other conflict - Reassign matters for further review to conflict attorney for clearance, if inquiries identify potential conflicts - Document all actions taken in this process in the NBI database - Perform additional tasks related to the operation of the Firm Conflicts Review Department, as assigned by Conflicts Counsel **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required** The successful candidate must possess: - Skills attributable to a paralegal or experienced, multi-area practice secretary - Flexibility and the ability to work independently and follow instructions - Law firm experience in opening files or clearing conflicts (preferred) - Involvement with the Firm's file opening/conflict system (or a firm of similar size and breadth) - Strong written and oral communication skills - Detail-oriented experience/abilities - A college degree (preferred) - Minimum authorization to work in the United States **Compensation** This position offers competitive compensation commensurate with experience.
