Organization Overview: Brooklyn A is a non-profit organization that has been providing free legal services to low-income residents of Brooklyn since 1968. Our mission is to pursue justice, empowerment, and community development through a variety of legal and advocacy strategies. We collaborate with government officials and community organizations to enforce housing laws and develop legislative solutions. Our three core programs - Preserving Affordable Housing (PAH) Program, Consumer & Economic Advocacy (CEA) Program, and Community & Economic Development (CED) Program - work together to ensure that basic needs are met and fundamental rights are affirmed for individuals and families in Brooklyn. Position Overview: As a Paralegal with the PAH Program, you will work closely with staff attorneys to support the legal and administrative functions of the program. This temporary full-time position will end on June 30, 2024 with the possibility of extension.
