McGuireWoods Business & Securities Litigation Jr. Associate McGuireWoods is seeking an Associate to join its Business & Securities Litigation Department in the Houston office. The successful candidate will have 1-3 years of litigation experience or experience as a federal judicial clerk, and must be a member of the Texas bar. Excellent academic credentials are required and journal and/or judicial experience is preferred. The Business & Securities Litigation group at McGuireWoods is equipped to assist all manner of companies, including financial institutions, public companies and closely-held corporations, in all aspects of commercial litigation and dispute resolution. Our attorneys have extensive experience defending clients in high-stakes litigation such as banking and securities class actions, shareholder derivative suits and regulatory investigations; representing officers and directors as individual defendants; and advising clients regarding risk mitigation and compliance with state and federal laws. We coordinate closely with our e-discovery team to efficiently manage the discovery burdens associated with complex litigation. When criminal proceedings run parallel to civil litigation, we work with the firm’s white-collar defense team to manage the client’s interests in a unified manner. We are prepared to try cases in both federal and state courts, but also explore alternative resolution options when they will help clients achieve their objectives, reduce costs and administrative burdens, and offer creative solutions not typically available through the courts. McGuireWoods offers its attorneys a competitive salary with hours and merit bonus opportunities, billable hours credit for pro bono work, and a hybrid in office/remote option allowing flexibility and work-life balance. Along with excellent benefits, McGuireWoods also offers its attorneys a competitive salary with hours and merit bonus opportunities, billable hours credit for pro bono work, and a hybrid in office/remote option allowing flexibility and work-life balance. ## McGuireWoods Business & Securities Litigation Jr. Associate McGuireWoods is looking for an Associate to join its Business & Securities Litigation Department in the Houston office.
