A law firm in Boston, MA, is seeking a skilled Renewable Energy Real Estate Associate Attorney to join their energy and natural resources strategic business unit. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience, with expertise in wind, solar, and/or battery storage real estate transactions. They should be comfortable leading scopes of work within a team and managing junior attorneys. Superior academic credentials, a commitment to the community, and excellent interpersonal skills are essential. Active Bar licensure or a commitment to obtaining one promptly is required.

Duties:

• Work primarily with attorneys in the energy and natural resources strategic business unit.
• Handle wind, solar, and/or battery storage real estate transactions.
• Lead scopes of work within a team and oversee junior attorneys.
• Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and provide legal advice.
• Participate in negotiations and due diligence processes.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of legal experience, preferably in renewable energy real estate.
• Experience with wind, solar, and/or battery storage real estate transactions.
• Superior academic credentials.
• Active MA Bar license or commitment to obtaining one promptly.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong commitment to the community and environmental sustainability.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active MA Bar license or commitment to obtaining one promptly.
