Job Overview:
A reputable law firm, located in Indianapolis, IN, is actively seeking a skilled Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Attorney to join their team. The position offers the flexibility of being fully remote. The attorney will primarily focus on motor vehicle accident cases but may also handle other personal injury matters such as dog bites and premises liability. A bilingual ability in English/Spanish is a valuable asset but not a requirement.

Duties:

• Deliver exceptional client service and maintain strong, lasting client relationships
• Investigate and assess personal injury claims, gathering necessary evidence, medical records, and related documents
• Manage pre-litigation cases, with a strong focus on motor vehicle accidents
• Provide clients with guidance throughout the entire case process
• Engage with expert witnesses and conduct necessary consultations
• Evaluate the value of claims and negotiate settlements with insurance companies
• Work closely with the legal team to prepare cases for litigation when appropriate
• Attend professional development programs and seminars as required, which may be outside normal business hours

Requirements:

• Valid Indiana state law license (or must have taken the UBE within the last 4 years and be willing to get licensed in Indiana)
• At least 2 years of experience in pre-litigation personal injury law
• Membership in good standing with the State Bar Association
• Strong ability to manage a high volume of pre-litigation cases
• Proficient knowledge of personal injury law and relevant regulations
• Outstanding communication and client service skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
• Self-motivated and goal-driven, with long-term career aspirations
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Indiana State Bar Membership (or the ability to obtain)
