The Law Firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is looking to welcome a junior partner in its Wealth Strategies service line in the firm's Tampa, Florida office. The ideal candidate for this position will have a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school, be admitted to the Florida Bar, and have at least 8 years of substantial experience in estate planning, trust and probate estate administration.

## Job Requirements:

- Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school
- Florida bar license
- . in Taxation or Estate Planning preferred, but not essential
- 8+ years’ estate planning law practice experience
- Strong technological skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and practice management systems, portals and technologies
- Superior research skills, including the use of online services, databases and the Internet
- Superior organizational skills
- Project management skills including a strong aptitude for managing and prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain a high degree of confidentiality

## Physical Requirements:

- Sitting position static for up to one-half hour at a time
- Lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds occasionally, up to one hour per day
- Bending and stooping occasionally, up to one-half hour per day
