This role will be focused on life sciences transactions and broader technology and intellectual property transactions in the context of M&A and other corporate transactions, as well as strategic commercial agreements, such as collaboration, license, outsourcing, and joint venture agreements. ## Technology & IP Transactional Associate **Law Firm is Seeking Experienced Technology & IP Transactional Associate** Law Firm is actively seeking a Technology & IP Transactional Associate with 3-6 years of experience to join our market-leading Technology and Intellectual Property Transactions group in the Bay Area. The ideal candidate will have outstanding credentials and qualifications relating to the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry and beyond. Technical degree not required. **Responsibilities:** - Handle technology and intellectual property transactions in the context of M&A and other corporate transactions - Assist with strategic commercial agreements, such as collaboration, license, outsourcing, and joint venture agreements - Provide legal advice and counsel on a wide range of technology and intellectual property matters - Prepare and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents - Monitor changes to relevant laws and regulations - Provide guidance on business strategies and compliance **Qualifications:** - 3-6 years of experience as a Technology & IP Transactional Associate - Excellent credentials and qualifications relating to the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry - Excellent legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills - Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team **Compensation:** Kirkland & Ellis LLP offers a competitive salary structure as well as a robust offering of benefits to all of its employees and attorneys. Compensation is based upon the roles and responsibilities of the position, the experience and education of the applicant and/or employee and is aligned with internal pay equity within Kirkland & Ellis LLP itself. The hiring salary range for this position is between $250,000 and $370,000.
