A law firm seeks an experienced associate attorney to join its Boston, Massachusetts office. This role offers an exciting opportunity to handle diverse legal matters, including real estate, construction, business law, and contract disputes. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in litigation, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with a team of dedicated legal professionals.

Duties

  • Represent clients in civil litigation cases, including courtroom proceedings and trials.
  • Handle a variety of legal matters, such as real estate, construction, condominium, business, lending/financing, administrative, and contract law cases.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and briefs.
  • Participate in discovery processes, including depositions and interrogatories.
  • Develop and execute effective case strategies tailored to client needs.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and legal advice.
  • Work collaboratively with other attorneys to achieve successful outcomes for clients.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 to 6 years of civil litigation experience.
  • Proven courtroom and trial experience preferred.
  • Experience in real estate, construction, condominium, business, lending/financing, administrative, and/or contract law is preferred.
  • Strong oral advocacy and legal writing skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A team-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality client service.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the Massachusetts Bar (required).
