Overview:

Wilshire Law Firm is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney to join our Employment department in Oakland, CA. With a focus on single action settlements and verdicts, this role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of our clients by fighting for their rights in the workplace. We are looking for a passionate and experienced attorney with a strong background in employment litigation to join our team.

Responsibilities and Duties:

As our Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for drafting and preparing legal documents, developing legal strategies, taking and running depositions, conducting ADR mediations and negotiations, and representing clients in employment matters. You will have the opportunity to use your superior analytical and legal research skills to think creatively and strategically in order to achieve favorable outcomes for our clients. This role also requires exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage your time effectively.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must be licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar and have a minimum of two years of experience specializing in employment litigation. We are seeking a highly motivated and driven individual with the ability to type 40 wpm and a willingness to reliably commute to Oakland or relocate to the area.
