Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking an experienced ERISA Litigation Attorney with at least 3 years of relevant experience and exceptional writing skills to join its team. The ideal candidate will be involved in all aspects of ERISA employment litigation, from strategy and investigation through case completion. Location:

Duties:

  • Handle ERISA litigation from inception through completion
  • Develop case strategies and perform in-depth investigations
  • Draft high-quality legal briefs, motions, and other documents
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide legal guidance
  • Represent clients in litigation, including negotiating settlements and appearing in court
  • Collaborate with colleagues on complex legal matters
  • Stay informed on developments in ERISA law and related areas

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in ERISA litigation
  • Strong analytical, writing, and research skills
  • Ability to manage complex cases and meet deadlines
  • Passion for protecting civil rights and advocating for medical liberty in employment-related matters
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with a diverse team

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Bar in at least one state (preference for states with active ERISA practices)

Skills:

  • Proficient in legal research, writing, and analysis
  • Experience in ERISA litigation and employment law
  • Strong oral communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Self-motivated and able to work remotely with minimal supervision
