Responsibilities:

Draft and negotiate commercial real estate documents, including purchase and sale agreements, loan agreements, guaranty agreements, JV agreements, etc.
Conduct due diligence review of commercial real estate transactions, including title and survey review, zoning and development issues, etc.
Work with clients to integrate legal advice into business strategy
Provide legal advice and support on a variety of real estate matters
Collaborate with team members and other practice areas within the firm



Qualifications:

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
Active Florida bar license (additional licenses in other states a plus)
Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial real estate law
Experience with drafting and negotiating commercial real estate documents
Familiarity with title and survey review, zoning and development issues
Strong academic credentials
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong technology skills and proficiency in legal research

As an Associate Attorney, you will have direct client contact and work with clients to integrate legal advice into their business strategy. This position is located in Jacksonville, Florida, and a Florida bar license is required. Additional licenses in other states are a plus.
