Law Firm Seeks FinTech, Blockchain and Derivatives Associate in Miami

Are you a legal professional with experience in derivatives and/or blockchain-related matters? Sidley Austin, one of the top law firms in the country, is seeking an Associate to support our FinTech, Blockchain and Derivatives practices in our Miami office. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 2+ years of experience in these areas to join a highly respected firm and work on cutting-edge legal issues.

What You'll Do:
- Advise on . securities laws and broker-dealer regulatory issues
- Provide guidance on Commodity Exchange Act and CFTC regulatory and compliance matters
- Represent clients in discussions with the CFTC, SEC, and self-regulatory organizations on novel issues
- Draft and negotiate trading agreements, including ISDAs and CSAs, prime brokerage agreements, master repurchase agreements, and master securities loan agreements

What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years of experience in derivatives and/or blockchain-related matters
- Admission to practice law in Florida (or eligibility to be admitted)
- Ability to issue spot and collaborate across inter-disciplinary teams
- Creative problem-solving skills for complex and uncommon issues
