Location:
Duties:
- Handle personal injury and insurance civil litigation cases.
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and briefs.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, and mediations.
- Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
- Prepare and manage cases from inception to trial.
- Engage in discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and depositions.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance representatives effectively.
Requirements:
- Ability to work full-time (Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week).
- Must be able to commute if not a resident of Hernando County.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and trial advocacy skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced litigation environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Admitted to practice law in the State of Florida.
