The firm is seeking to hire a Senior Advice & Counsel Associate to join their Silicon Valley, CA office. The expected salary range for this position is $234,000-$275,000.

### Responsibilities

The Senior Advice & Counsel Associate will be responsible for:

* Conducting audits of employer practices, including wage and hour policies and procedures
* Drafting and revising incentive compensation documents, including commission and bonus plans
* Drafting and revising policies, handbooks and other employee communication documents
* Explaining complex employment law issues in a way that can be understandable to a range of audiences
* Identifying various problem-solving options, including the pros and cons of each option, so that clients can choose the practical and legal solution that works best for them

### Skills and Educational Requirements

The successful candidate will possess the following:

* JD from ABA-accredited law school
* Admitted to the CA State Bar and in good standing
* 7+ years of relevant experience
* Knowledge of federal, state, and local workplace and employment law a plus
* Understanding of current agency (state and federal) enforcement techniques a plus
* Excellent attention to detail
* Strong organizational and project management skills
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Experience conducting trainings or workplace investigations preferred, but not required
