Director, Healthcare Compliance Counsel - $184,,

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a Director, Healthcare Compliance Counsel to join their team. This role will involve leading all aspects of the group healthcare compliance function and providing advice, mentorship, and contractual and regulatory interpretation. The successful candidate will work closely with various functional areas to minimize risk and ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations. This is a full-time, corporate, remote/hybrid position available in 5 locations.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and expand the healthcare compliance program by partnering with relevant functional areas to craft and implement controls, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with other functions to ensure risk-based monitoring and auditing assessments are performed and corrective action plans are implemented.
- Develop educational programs to drive a deeper understanding of relevant laws and regulations across the organization.
- Investigate and monitor reported compliance concerns and incidents.
- Build relationships with key representatives in various departments to ensure consistency with internal policies and processes.
- Mentor and empower business partners to become influencers and advocates for healthcare compliance.
- Oversee and lead global transparency reporting requirements.

Requirements:

- Juris Doctorate and member in good standing with State Bar.
- 8-10 years of healthcare and legal compliance experience.
- Knowledge of anti-kickback and false claims laws, transactional and compliance reporting laws, and promotional requirements.
- Experience developing and implementing compliance programs, including Open Payments transparency reporting.
- Strong project and process management skills.
- Ability to influence and work collaboratively in a highly matrixed environment.
- Self-motivated with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Meticulous with high-quality work product.

Compensation and Benefits:

- Salary range of $184,,.
- Eligible for variable annual bonus based on company, team, and individual performance.
