Law Firm Seeking Junior to Mid-Level Private Funds Associate in Miami or Chicago

Responsibilities:
- Assist sponsor clients in forming and structuring GP and management company entities
- Assist with formation and structuring of investment funds and other alternative investment vehicles
- Represent clients in side letter negotiations and advise on investment opportunities with third party managers
- Manage fundraising processes and assist with ongoing regulatory requirements
- Provide day-to-day legal advice to clients
- Understand fund economics and draft related language in fund agreements
- Work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to take on responsibility
- Multi-tasking and strong time management skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing environments
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting

Requirements:
- Minimum 2-6 years of experience in a large law firm setting
- Experience with fund formation and investment adviser work preferred
- Strong academic background and excellent communication skills
