Job Details:

Duties:

  • Drafting a broad range of estate planning documents, including wills, trust agreements, and related documents.
  • Providing business succession strategies for clients.
  • Assisting individuals and families in trust structures and wealth transfer tax matters.
  • Assisting in the administration of estates and trusts.
  • Preparing and/or reviewing federal estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax returns.
  • Leading the estates and trusts practice area.
  • Supporting the litigation practice in matters related to Wills, Trusts, and Estate and Trust Administration issues.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of estate planning and estate and trust administration experience.
  • Knowledge of relevant state and federal tax laws.
  • Experience with charitable giving, estate planning for retirement assets, and tax-efficient family wealth transfer strategies.
  • Experience drafting key legal documents for trusts and estate matters.
  • Licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and in good standing.
  • Conscientious and responsive with a proven attention to detail while working under demanding deadlines.
  • Excellent written communication and drafting skills, producing concise and effective written products.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and works well independently while also embracing teamwork.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to clearly communicate advice to clients and others.
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking.
