Summary

Law Firm is seeking a mid-level associate (4 -6 years) with a large degree of experience representing private equity sponsors in connection with acquisitions, dispositions, and financings. The position will be located in the firm’s Boston office and requires a or equivalent and admission, in good standing, to practice in the state of Massachusetts.

Responsibilities of the position include:

• Advising private equity funds and their portfolio companies with respect to sophisticated public or private acquisitions, growth investments and other similar transactions
• Drafting and negotiating related transactional agreements
• Advising on general corporate matters, including governance and securities law compliance
• Working within teams and managing varies parts of transactions independently

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proven experience representing private equity and strategic investor clients on various mergers and acquisition transactions
• Experience drafting and negotiating private equity documents
• The ability to manage priorities in a fast paced and, at times, deadline driven environment
• Emotional intelligence to work in a truly collaborative environment
• Ability to advise clients on cross-border transactions
