Job Title: Military Paralegal - DAC-IPAD Legal Support Services and Military Justice Data Collection Experience Information: - At least 2 years of experience in military justice or criminal justice - Advanced skill in preparing and processing pre-trial and post-trial military justice documents - Familiarity with military court-martial databases and the Microsoft Office Suite Law Firm Seeking Military Paralegal for Remote Position with DAC-IPAD Legal Support Services and Military Justice Data Collection The Gilchrist Law Firm is currently seeking a Military Paralegal to join our team and work remotely with the Defense Advisory Committee on Investigation, Prosecution, and Defense of Sexual Assault in the Armed Forces (DAC-IPAD) Legal Support Services and Military Justice Data Collection. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in military justice or criminal justice to utilize their skills and experience in a meaningful and important role. Responsibilities and Duties: - Assist in the collection and review of court-martial records of trial - Identify and handle non-OSD/JS component equities and critical information within court-martial records - Code the names of members impaneled after voir dire and record the reason for dismissal of other individuals - Coordinate follow-up of agency coordination to determine review status - Process electronic redaction of exempt information for case records - Maintain database/records management for each case - Conduct appropriate coordination and prepare internal and external correspondence - Perform escort duties within workspaces as needed Requirements: - Associate degree in military paralegal studies or equivalent military experience - At least 2 years of experience in military justice or criminal justice - Advanced skill in preparing and processing pre-trial and post-trial military justice documents - Familiarity with military court-martial databases and the Microsoft Office Suite Salary Information: The salary for this position is competitive and will be based on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.
