Law Firm Seeks Experienced Associate Attorney in General Liability Practice Group

Chartwell Law, a nationally ranked law firm with over 200 attorneys in 29 offices, is seeking a motivated and experienced Associate Attorney to join our General Liability practice group in our Chicago, IL office. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct file review and legal analysis of claims and causes of action

• Perform extensive legal research and draft briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate briefs

• Maintain an annual billable requirement of 1950 hours

• Represent clients in court, arbitrations, and depositions

• Prepare and respond to discovery requests

• Collaborate with expert witnesses

• Assist with trial preparation and attendance

• Some travel may be required

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in General Liability

• . degree from an ABA-approved law school

• Admitted to practice in the state of Illinois

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent research abilities and written and oral communication skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Prompt response to e-mail and phone inquiries
