Duties:

  • Provide legal advice and services to small business clients on matters including formation, acquisitions, contracts, and employment issues.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Guide clients on business strategy, risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Represent clients in legal disputes involving business transactions, contracts, and employment issues.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with small business clients through proactive communication and support.
  • Stay current on trends in business law and evolving legal service delivery models.
  • Collaborate with other legal professionals and departments to deliver comprehensive legal solutions to clients.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in business law, particularly in areas such as business formation, acquisitions, contracts, and employment law.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to effectively manage client relationships.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proven ability to provide practical, client-focused legal advice.
  • Interest in the evolving legal services industry and a willingness to embrace innovative service delivery models.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admitted to practice in the relevant state.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of business law, including formation, acquisitions, contracts, and employment law.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client matters and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
