Duties
- Handle complex family law cases including divorce, alimony, child support, equitable distribution, parenting time, domestic violence, post-judgment issues, and appeals.
- Serve as an advocate for clients, offering guidance during challenging family law matters.
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs with attention to detail and legal accuracy.
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Contribute to the growth and strategic direction of the firm.
- Meet deadlines and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in divorce and family law.
- Licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey and in good standing.
- Strong writing and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage complex legal cases and meet client needs effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with clients and colleagues.
- Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- New Jersey Bar License (Required).
