# Law Firm Seeks 4-5 Year Debt Finance Associate

Law firm Akin is seeking a mid-level to senior associate with four to five years of experience to join their fast-growing and internationally recognized Debt Finance Practice. ## Requirements

The ideal candidate should have the following qualities and experience:

* Substantive experience with a wide range of secured lending matters, including domestic and cross-border acquisitions, restructuring and reorganizations and general corporate finance matters
* Prior experience as a key member of deal teams, including having taken responsibility for running signings and closings, taking "the pen" on first drafts of debt commitment papers and credit documentation, etc.
* Exposure to direct lending, special situation financings, out-of-court and in-court restructurings and/or private equity-related corporate finance transactions
* Ability to function smoothly in a team environment with culturally diverse team members
