**Job Duties/Responsibilities for Employment Law Attorney**

- Analyze, update and assist clients through multi-state employment law compliance
- Draft and advise on executive employment, IP protection, independent contractor, separation and restrictive covenant agreements
- Draft and advise on handbooks, policies and procedures, including anti-harassment programs, leave laws and finding rightsized policies for culture and business needs
- Manage Employment Group investigations, and employer-client responses to EEOC, CDLE and similar agency employee complaints
- Manage litigation, including pursuing and defending employment-related claims and attending depositions
- Conduct and advise through equal pay and employee desperate treatment audits including providing support through reductions in force

**Required Skills/Qualifications for Employment Law Attorney**

- Education:
- Experience: 7+ years of solid experience in medium to large size law firm in area of employment law
- Licensure & Certification: Possession of a license to practice law in Colorado
- Self-starter, interested in growing Firm clients
- Proven track record of developing strong, trusting, and long-lasting client relationships
- Ability to handle fast paced workload and add value to multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to act as a “Practical Strategist” to balance business needs with legal risk
- Ability to use “hands-on” approach to research, problem-solving, and client relations
- Comfortable with technology
- Creative, positive thinker with a good sense of humor
- Must be outgoing, collegial, and collaborative
- Qualifications include distinguished academics from ABA Accredited Law School, strong writing skills, a keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills a must
