Position Summary:
- Seeking mid-level associate for financial services regulatory (FSR) team in New York office
- FSR team focuses on financial services laws and regulations for global client base
- Clients include both . and . financial institutions and enterprises
- Work includes advising on fintech matters

Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and provide advice on FSR matters
- Negotiate and draft commercial agreements and other transactional documents
- Collaborate with other teams to bring financial services expertise to transactional and enforcement matters
- Participate in business development initiatives and write client alerts and articles
- Attend relevant programs and help develop and present programs for debt finance team
- Act as a team player and contribute to team meetings and initiatives

Qualifications:
- Strong academic record and intellectual curiosity
- Commercial and business awareness
- Ability to think strategically and see the big picture
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong time management skills and ability to handle pressure
- Proactive and resourceful with a strong client service focus
- Prior experience in a financial institution or fintech role is welcome
- Educational experience in business (MBA, CFA) is a plus
- International experience and transactional experience are also a plus

Salary Information:
- Salary range for New York market: 295,000 - 400,000 USD yearly
- Salary range in other markets will vary based on cost of living and experience level
