- Seeking a mid-level associate (4-7 years of experience) to join our Business Group at BakerHostetler
- Work with regional and national clients as a member of the Capital Markets & Securities and Corporate Governance practice team
- Knowledge of federal securities laws, rules and regulations and listing standards required
- Experience with preparing and reviewing various filings, including Forms 8-K, 10-Q and 10-K, registration statements, and more

As a member of our Business Group, you will have the opportunity to work with both regional and national clients, gaining valuable experience in the field of Capital Markets & Securities and Corporate Governance.

To be considered for this position, candidates must have a strong knowledge of federal securities laws, rules, and regulations, as well as listing standards. Additionally, experience with preparing and reviewing various filings, such as Forms 8-K, 10-Q and 10-K, registration statements, and Section 16 filings, is required. Candidates should also have experience assisting with maintaining governance policies and practices, including committee charters, corporate governance guidelines, and insider trading regulations.

In this role, you will also be responsible for providing securities support for mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, and other corporate transactions. Therefore, experience in both public and private securities offerings is a must. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, are essential, as well as the ability to manage a fast-paced workload and anticipate issues.

The successful candidate will possess a professional commitment and strong interpersonal skills, necessary to thrive in a collaborative cross-office team environment. Admission to practice law in the state where the candidate will reside is also required.

This position may be located in one of our multiple offices, including Atlanta, GA; Cincinnati, OH; Cleveland, OH; Columbus, OH; Orlando, FL; or Washington, DC. The salary for this position will be commensurate with experience.
