Duties:
- Understand laws and statutes applicable to personal injury cases.
- Provide clear legal counsel to clients, explaining processes and potential outcomes.
- Build strong attorney-client relationships based on trust and effective communication.
- Prepare and file legal documents, including discovery, motions, and briefs.
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Negotiate favorable settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies.
- Serve as first chair attorney during trial preparations and proceedings.
- Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case progress.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior attorneys.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Texas.
- 3-5 years of litigation experience with a focus on personal injury law.
- Proven track record of successfully litigating personal injury cases.
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Excellent negotiation and advocacy abilities.
- Leadership qualities with a capacity to mentor junior attorneys.
- High level of professionalism, ethics, and integrity.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
